“ Very vogue atmosphere. Apps were phenomenal, ramen was weaker but still stellar. Music was a little loud but it happens. Definitely recommend. ”
“ Best ramen in savannah. Amazing waiter and service, awesome vibe and location. The ramen tasted very high quality and the pork belly just falls apart when you bite into it. The broth was great and they even brought me out a plate of spicy seasonings when I asked if they could make it spicy. ”
“ This was my second time at Ukiyo, and it was incredible. The service was great- thanks Bri! We had the chef's choice sashimi to start and asked for thinly sliced lemon and jalapeño on the side. We were blown away. I had the Tonkatsu ramen and finished by drinking the broth straight out of the bowl. Clean plate club. The mushrooms were my favorite part of the dish, but the pork belly was falling apart in the broth from how tender it was. WILL be coming back and recommending to anyone who will listen! Also a shoutout to the sushi chef Dylan/Dillion who entertained us with his beautiful creations at the noodle bar! ”
“ Food quality and price is worth it. It might just be me but I wanted the ramen and other appetizers to be stronger in flavor. However that might just be my palette preference for stronger savory flavors. Our dinner table ordered the 3 ramens that all had a chicken mushroom soup base. The cucumber, spicy tofu, and mixed mushrooms were great vegetarian options. Food pricing is pretty inexpensive for the quality you get. The restaurant was definitely planned. From the bar seating to open kitchen concept and center room seating someone took the time to curate this establishment from start to finish. Service was good even on a busy Saturday night. Overall, I highly recommend going here for the ambiance and food. ”

“ Unique spot right in the middle of Starland District. I went with a Japanese Whiskey & Fernet mixed drink that was unbelievably smooth tasting. Tried a few different small plates... the Salmon spicy roll as well as the crispy potatoes with chili oil were a big hit. Service was top notch. “ This is one of my favorite restaurants in Savannah, definitely one I return to every so often. My fav dishes are the bao buns and the garlic fried rice. The fried rice is simple but it is just SOO good, the flavors and texture. The bao buns are amazing, because it's one of my favorite appetizers but rarely do I get a vegetarian or chicken option, and Ukiyo has both! They have great veggie options all around as well. And definitely try their asian inspired cocktails!! ”
“ I visited Ukiyo for dinner on the 30th of December and we were first turned away because we didn't have a reservation. I think they are just busier in certain seasons, but be sure to make a reservation beforehand to be on the safe side. I got the Tokonsu pork ramen, Spicy salmon roll, and the gyoza. All of the food was great. I especially liked the gyoza. I liked that the provided chili bombs to add flavor to the ramen broth. Ideally, I would have preferred a more flavorful broth, but having the chili bombs was a good alternative. I think the best part of this dining experience was the ambiance of the place. I would definitely come back to this spot, and I would like to try more of their sushi options next time. ”
